Hottest Toddler Toys of the Year
Now that the holidays are upon us, you’ll be making the decision on which toys are the best for your baby or toddler. Every parent wants to get that special present they know their child will play with for hours. With so many to choose from, which ones will grab your child’s attention? Well I have the answer to that question. These are the hottest, must have toys of the year:
T.M.X. Elmo is perhaps the hottest toy of the year. This is the tenth anniversary addition to the tickle me Elmo series. If you’ve seen the demo online, you’ll understand why this toy has earned this much press this year. All the hype you hear about it is true. Fisher-Price has truly outdone themselves this time. The animation this toy can do is absolutely amazing. The giggling and talking Elmo does is infectious. You can’t help but be drawn to it. There is no way any baby or toddler will not like it. The only problem here is being able to get one. They only produced a certain amount of them causing the usual shopping frenzy with people rushing to the stores to buy them. Some people were fortunate enough to buy a few. These same people have gone on to try selling them online at places like e-bay at exorbitant prices. However, if you’re lucky enough to score one, TMX Elmo will be a hit for your child.
Fisher Price Sesame Street Sing N Giggle Toolbench-This is yet another Sesame Street item that kids will have fun playing with. It’s incredible how long Sesame Street has been on the air and yet their merchandise still stays on top. All of the sounds and interaction will help your child learn to use their imagination. This toy is recommended for children over 18 months.
Barbie And The Twelve Dancing Princesses- Each year Mattel puts out new Barbies. This year they have done a collection of Barbies dressed as princesses. There are 12 in all to choose from. Barbie is one of those classic toys that every little girl seems to love. They come dressed in beautiful eye catching outfits and they also sell some accessories to this series. This toy will be loved by any child that likes dolls or Barbie. And what little girl doesn’t like princesses?
Dora and Diego Toys continue to be popular this year in part because of their TV shows. The Dora the Explorer Talking Kitchen or Dora’s Talking Dollhouse are great for imaginative play.
Fisher Price Baby Gymtastics Bounce And Spin Zebra- This is a great toy that can be used inside or outside. It helps your child to physically develop through bouncing spinning and electronic features.
Aquadoodle- The Aquadoodle is a system consisting of a playmat and marker that enables kids to draw and color mess free. The marker is filled with water and the colors only appear when the marker is used on the playmat. There are different types of playmats they make. There is Sesame Street, Thomas, and mats that also play music. You can also purchase accessories for this toy such as little stamps and shapes. The Aquadoodle is a huge personal favorite of mine. It helps your toddler to develop his fine motor skills while having fun. Plus, how can you resist a drawing tool that’s mess free?
LeapFrog toys are still hot this year. They always add new learning system toys and cartridges in your kids’ favorite characters as well as adding new toys for your younger child. The Fridge Farm Magnetic Animal Set, The Step Along Learning Band Walker, The Learning Connection Train, Leaps Phonics Railroad, and The Learning Drum are all excellent choices. I can’t say enough positive things about the LeapFrog toys. They are educational toys your children will love. They have a huge selection of toys to choose from and the prices are very affordable.
